10x Your Talents
A Faith-First Approach to Managing Adult ADHD

About Me
I know what it feels like to be gifted—and stuck.
After years of leading in the military, briefing four-star generals, graduating from an Ivy League school, and glimpsing success in tech consulting and sales, I still found myself struggling. I could never seem to stick to one thing. Missed deadlines, broken routines, and paralyzing self-criticism followed me everywhere. At 41, the stress of trying to meet my numbers at a top-five software company landed me in the hospital. That’s when my marriage counselor asked me a question that changed my life: Have you ever been tested for ADHD?
Until then, I thought ADHD was just an excuse for hyperactive kids who couldn’t sit still. I was wrong. What I learned about dopamine, motivation, and executive function suddenly explained decades of struggle with time blindness, task initiation, and staying organized. It wasn’t a character flaw—it was my brain working differently.
I took a step back from corporate life to relearn the skills I’d never been taught: time management, project execution, active listening, and organization. But more importantly, I learned to stop trying to “fix” myself and start working with how God designed me.
In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of the talents. A master entrusts his servants with resources before leaving on a journey. The servants who invested and multiplied their talents were rewarded, while the one who buried his talent out of fear lost everything. ADHD makes it harder to manage your talents—but the mission God gave you hasn’t changed. Success comes when you stop burying your talents and start investing them.
I’m not perfect, but I’m a few steps ahead on this journey. If you’re a Christian man with ADHD trying to lead effectively in a world built for neurotypicals, I’m here to help you forge a path forward. Let’s get to work.
